Another month has passed and it’s time for the second installment of the Noise Pop Record Collective.  The last one was pretty fun, so please consider coming out to Churchill on July 10th and bring some choice vinyl for me to spin.  I’d say the ‘winner’ of last month’s event would be whoever brought Stonewall Jackson’s “Give It Back To The Indians”.  Quite the track.  Cheekiest record brought was probably this one:

A fairly horrible rendition of Tennessee Waltz by Silver Blue. The cover looks amazing, however I’m not entirely certain the world needs classic bluegrass tunes done in an overwrought disco style.  

I’m excited to see what folks bring this time around, so please don’t disappoint!  Drink specials, discounts at Amoeba for RSVPing to the event, and hopefully they’ll have the All-Star Game up on one (or all) of the screens there.
